How We Started

Autex started back in the 80’s. In the beginning, we were not known as a Mercedes-Benz and BMW shop. We focus primarily on diesel cars. During this time Boshe introduced a new diesel fuel injection system that was popular with three car manufacturing companies, Chevy, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW. We specialized in this fuel injection system and serviced all types of diesels.

Eventually diesel powered cars lost their mainstream popularity and Chevy stopped manufacturing diesel engines. What was left was only Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Most of our customers switched back to gasolene powered cars and stayed with either a Mercedes or BMW during that transition. Our customers enjoyed the workmanship and honesty that we provide when working on their cars and trucks and requested our work on their gasoline powered cars.

Over the years, as less and less diesels were being sold, we received more and more Mercedes and BMWs to work on. Since we were extremely familiar with these two manufactures at this point, we decided to work exclusively on Mercedes and BMW’s, creating the shop that we are today.

Our Goal

We aim to make sure you get your vehicle repaired as quickly and efficiently as possible. We believe in being open and honest. Our customers are our number one priority and making sure that a vehicle is back to its original shape is our goal. We use only OEM parts and aim to get your car back to factory fresh at a fraction of the cost it would have been if you were to go to a dealer.
